Ted Elam

Ted Elam joined Foundry Commercial in 2017 and serves as a Principal. Along with David Blount, he leads sourcing, capitalization, and underwriting efforts for Foundry’s Development & Investments business in South Florida. Ted has closed over $600MM of acquisitions and dispositions in both office and industrial across South Florida and Texas including over $400MM in industrial product in South Florida.


Prior to his role as Principal, he served in Foundry’s Deal Hub as an Associate where the team lead the underwriting and acquisition of over $4.0B of office, industrial, healthcare, and retail assets since 2015. Ted began his career as a Financial Analyst at DISH Network and later developed a passion for real estate as a Business Intelligence Analyst at JLL.

Jill Marasa

Jill Marasa is the Director of Development – Treasure Coast for Ashley Capital, one of the largest privately held industrial real estate investment companies in the United States.  Jill oversees the land development activity for the Florida land portfolio, comprised of over 2,000 acres in Martin County including Sunrise Grove Commerce Center and Martin Commerce Park. 


Prior to joining Ashley Capital, Jill started her career in the financial services industry in New York and New Jersey and held various economic development roles at the Business Development Board of Martin County, Florida.  Prior to joining Ashley Capital, she served as the Vice President, Business Retention and Expansion at the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County.  In her role, she was responsible for promoting economic development in St. Lucie County, Florida leading business retention, expansion and attraction efforts, as well as recruitment for new industrial development activity.

Amanda De Seta

Amanda De Seta is the Head of Development at Dragonfly Investments, a leading real estate investment firm. With over 15 years of experience in residential, hospitality, and commercial real estate development, Amanda has established herself as an expert in both historic renovations and new construction, with a focus on innovative high-end design in both the starter home sector and the high-end luxury market.


As Head of Development, Amanda is responsible for leading Dragonfly Investments’ entitlement, development, and construction efforts. She brings her expertise in project management, acquisition, and financial projection to every project, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the development process.


Prior to joining Dragonfly Investments, Amanda founded and owned LointerHome, an established residential real estate development company in Los Angeles, Southeastern Pennsylvania and Miami. Her focus on preserving the original design intent of each structure and finding redeeming, genuine qualities to bring back to life has earned her numerous accolades, including the American Institute of Architects’ top prize for excellence in Renovation and Addition

Jeffrey Chamberlin

Jeffrey D. Chamberlin, CCIM, SIOR, has brokered commercial real estate on the Treasure/Research Coast since 1989. Chamberlin is the principal broker and owner of SLC Commercial, with offices in Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, and West Palm Beach, and 10 full time commercial agents. SLC Commercial is the region’s largest commercial real estate brokerage. His firm’s services include Sales and Leasing Brokerage, Management, Buyer/Tenant Representation, Development, and Consulting.


Chamberlin primary focuses are improved commercial and industrial properties, vacant land, and retail development sites. Chamberlin has brokered numerous large transactions, including an 118 acre site at Midway Road & I-95 for a 1 million sf Amazon facility, a 400,000 sf site selection and build to suit for Tamco (City Electric Supply) in Tradition, a 60,000 sf Amazon lease in Fort Pierce, a 100,000sf small bay industrial project in Treasure Coast Commerce Center, a 120,000 sf industrial manufacturing building in Stuart, the 140 acre Venture Park industrial park in Indiantown, a 38 acre retail power center site in St. Lucie West, a Publix shopping center site in Stuart, a Lowes site in Palm Bay, and a Home Depot site in Sebastian. His firm has also recently sold several other large industrial development sites, including a 65 acre site in Fort Pierce, and 32 acre and 31 acre sites in Port St. Lucie.

Christopher Thomson

Christopher Thomson joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1999 after graduating from Florida State University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Real Estate and Finance.


In 2001, Mr. Thomson found his true calling when he joined Chris Metzger and Rick Etner as a member of the South Florida Industrial Team. During his tenure, he has worked in the three major commercial real estate fields of office, retail, and industrial, while expanding Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial and land expertise from Palm Beach County north to Indian River County.

Councilman David Pickett

David Pickett was elected to the Port St. Lucie City Council in November of 2020. As a thirty-two-year resident, he has a vast knowledge on the early years of Port St. Lucie’s growth and has brought that knowledge to the City Council to help make some tough decisions regarding our city’s future and development.


Pickett was born and raised in Indiana. At the age of nineteen, he joined the US Army. As veteran of the United States Army, he served in a variety of highly- sensitive roles within the Air Defense Artillery Corps, the Military Police Corps, and finally as a Logistician and Transportation Specialist. He served two combat tours in the Middle East and received a multitude of accommodations and medals, including the Combat Action Badge, Army Achievement Medal, Army Accommodation Medal, and the Florida Distinguished Service Medal. 


While serving our country, David found Port St. Lucie as the ideal place to relocate to and raise his five children, claiming the city had some of the same family values he learned growing up in the Midwest. With his children now grown, David has been blessed with five grandchildren.


In 2015 he retired from the US Army with a master’s degree in Critical Incident Management and joined the private sector as a Transportation/Warehouse Manager.

Bill West

Bill West is a distinguished figure in Florida business. He has contributed to the growth and success of numerous Florida businesses and financial institutions. His work in economic development, business finance, and business sales has been recognized with awards from the Florida Economic Development Council, the International Business Brokers Association, the Florida Business Brokers Association and regional EDOs in Martin, St. Lucie and Collier counties.


He is the founder of West Advisory, a South Florida-based economic development and succession planning consultancy

Wes McCurry

Wes McCurry is the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County (EDC) Senior Vice President, leading the EDC’s business attraction and retention activities.


Prior to joining the EDC in November 2022, Wes oversaw the rapid development of the City of Port St. Lucie’s jobs corridor as director of the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency. 


Wes joined the city in 2018 after serving as a senior associate with the Port St. Lucie office of Fishkind & Associates, an economic and financial consulting firm involved in key financial advisory roles to special districts, local governments, redevelopment agencies and real estate developers. At Fishkind & Associates, he was tasked with management of the 8,200-acre Tradition master-planned community.


With more than 25 years of experience in community and land development, Wes also previously served as Vice President of Core Communities, LLC and President of Core’s subsidiary, Tradition Development Company, LLC. During his tenure at Tradition Development Company and Core Communities he managed and acquired entitlements for four Developments of Regional Impact on more than 12,000 acres of land which allow for development of more than 25,000 residential units and 15 million square feet of non-residential development
