Mark Levy - Moderator

Mark is Founder and President of BBX Logistics Properties and has direct oversight and accountability for all day-to-day operations of the firm.


Mark has over 25 years of experience in ascending leadership roles with many of the nation’s largest private and public real estate companies, including Prologis and Opus. Over the course of his career, Mark has directly invested in or overseen $7 billion of capital deployment and development. Prior to his founding of BBX Logistics Properties, Mark was Head of Investments at Hilco Redevelopment Partners.


Mark brings a highly-disciplined approach to real estate development and investment, having extensive experience in the nation’s top logistics markets. His deep market relationships and experience creates a major point of differentiation for the firm.

David Blount

David serves as a Principal on the Development & Investments group for Foundry Commercial, helping the day to day efforts of on-going development projects in South Florida with Ted Elam. He is also charged with pursuing new development and acquisition opportunities.


David began his career on the project management side of Foundry Commercial, initially starting as a Senior Project Manager and quickly working his way to Vice President of the South Florida Development & Investments Team. He helped lead the three phase Carrie Meek International Business Park project which was a 2,685,000 SF quasi-public private partnership with Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade Aviation Department. 

 

Prior to joining Foundry Commercial, David was the Vice President of Development at Gibson Development Partners where he oversaw and ran the development operations for the company. This included multiple industrial, retail, office and restaurant projects.

Aaron Hirschl

Aaron Hirschl, Vice President, joined Bridge Development Partners in 2019 and is responsible for leading all aspects of the development process, specifically including acquisition, leasing, and disposition throughout the region.

Prior to joining Bridge, Aaron worked at CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago, IL, assisting clients globally with site selection and economic incentive negotiations.

Aaron is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Political Science and minor in Business; he is also currently a candidate for Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism at the University of Miami.

Brad Kluever

With more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience, Brad Kluever leads First Industrial Realty Trust’s investment and leasing efforts in the Houston market and is also responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in several other key markets.


As Senior Regional Director/Market Leader for First Industrial Realty Trust, Mr. Kluever manages acquisitions, speculative and build-to-suit developments, and lease negotiations for the Company’s Houston portfolio. In addition, he works closely with regional directors in both Denver and Florida to source and execute new investment opportunities, including building and land acquisitions and developments. Mr. Kluever began his career at First Industrial serving as Regional Investment Analyst for the Central and East regions and reported directly to First Industrial’s Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder, Johannson Yap.

Alex Vargas

Alex Vargas Vila joined Prologis in April 2023 and is responsible for all capital deployment activities within the state of Florida. Prior to his role with Prologis as Investment Officer, Mr. Vargas Vila held roles as Vice President for East Group Properties (NYSE: EGP) leading all industrial acquisition, development, and asset management for their South Florida portfolio. Prior to that, Alex served as Director of Acquisitions and Dispositions for Flagler Development, a subsidiary of Fortress Investment Group, where he worked on various projects including the development of industrial parks, monetization of non-core land holdings, and acquisitions of mixed-use TOD sites to serve as rail stations for Brightline, a new passenger rail service in Florida connecting Miami to Orlando. Over his 10+ year career, Alex's work experience has focused on opportunities to create value either through acquisitions and dispositions, industrial land development, and creation of new companies and operating entities. Alex earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Real Estate Development, both from the University of Miami and is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Lauren Pace - Moderator

Lauren Pace joins Colliers as Senior Director with a focus on industrial services in the South Florida region.


Leveraging her expertise in this property type, Lauren specializes in industrial leasing of a range of properties inlcuding flex/warehouses

and manufacturing facilities.


With a focus on working with both landlords and tenants, she ensures that all parties are delivered a high-level of service and commitment to excellence.


Lauren also provides site selection and other related services, positioning her knowlege of the current industrial market conditions, trends, and demand in order to help her clients make informed decisions.

Luis Castillo

Luis is a managing director in the Miami office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate investment advisory. As a member of the Miami Investment Advisory Group, he is primarily responsible for institutional-grade properties with a concentration on industrial assets located throughout the Southeast United States. Throughout the course of his career, he has been involved in the sale and recapitalization of more than $7.5 billion of commercial real estate transactions.


Luis started at HFF in September 2004 as an analyst. Before that, he was a commercial real estate analyst at Industry Capital Management and worked as an associate in the Multifamily Investment Advisory Group at Arroyo & Coates.

Dominic Montazemi

Dominic Montazemi is team co-leader representing the South Florida Commercial Team for Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Market Group. Their team specializes in providing sophisticated asset disposition and finance services for office, industrial, retail and land to high net-worth individuals, off-shore capital, local entrepreneurs, private equityfunds, and institutional clients with non-core assets located throughout South Florida.


Dominic is primarily focused on transaction execution of major assignments throughout South Florida, as well asbeing a key part of client development efforts. Leveraging local market knowledge with the ability to identify aggressive and ultra-motivated capital have allowed him to add to the team’s success and position as the mostdominant investment sales team across South Florida in the private capital arena.


Since partnering to form the South Florida Capital Markets Team, Dominic has been involved with sale transactions totaling over a million, including a number of noteworthy sales recognized by the South Florida Business Journal and the Daily Business Review.

Chris Metzger

Chris Metzger joined the Cushman & Wakefield Fort Lauderdale office in 1983 to form the industrial and land department.


He is now one of South Florida’s leading commercial/industrial sales and leasing agents. Mr. Metzger serves as Executive Managing Director of South Florida Industrial Team which includes Rick Etner, Christopher Thomson, Matthew McAllister, Eric Cantor, Julie Miller, and Katie Bowie.


They dominate the South Florida industrial and land market. He holds an SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS) designation, and has been the top producing industrial broker in Cushman & Wakefield's Fort Lauderdale office every year since 1984.
